Ian Barrie, President
Ian attended General Motors Institute and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an MBA.
Ian was employed at General Motors, mainly in parts fabrication. After leaving General Motors, Ian has worked in a Management role in the Automotive Parts Industry, mainly in the metal casting and machining areas. Ian became President of Advance Precision in 1998.

Ross Knipe, Materials Manager
Ross has 20 years experience in purchasing/materials departments, ranging through all purchasing aspects of assemblies/material and machining needs. As well, he completed one year at Sheridan College, studying Mechanical Engineering Design (1982-1983). He is very conversant with most ERP computer systems, including BaaN SAP and Vantage.
Ross worked at Husky Injection Molding for 12 years as a senior buyer. He joined the Advance Precision team in June 2000.

Chris Messervey, Production Manager
Chris graduated from the Cabot Institute of Technology with a diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology in 1991.
Chris started working for General Kinetics Ltd. in early 1992 building shock absorbers and rebuilding struts for armored personnel carriers. In early 1994, he started work as a Hydromat operator, and was promoted to shift leader in 1996 when Advance Precision was formed from General Kinetics. In 2002, Chris was promoted to Production Manager.
